Hugh Strahorn entered the contract harvesting business in 1978 with the purchase of a John Deere 7700. Over the years his company has grown from one combine to a fleet of 10 combine harvesters and 5 road-trains showcasing all the latest John Deere, Case, New Holland and Iveco machines. This company would now be one of the largest contract harvesting operations in Australia.

The company recently underwent a change of name from Hugh Strahorn Harvesting to Harvest Force in order to focus on a more marketable image.

Today the company employs approximately 25-30 staff during the harvest season. The majority of these staff are seasonal or casual employees.

Hugh Strahorn has a reputation for honesty and being a man of his word. This philosophy has extended into the company culture of Harvest Force. Our focus is to do a professional job and ensure that the customer is satisfied at all times.
